At G SIR, your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the G SIR app, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using G SIR, you agree to the practices described here.
Information You Provide
When you create an account and use G SIR, you give us information directly:
- Account details — your name, email address, phone number, and password.
- Profile information — profile photo, city, and address.
- Service-provider verification (KYC) — if you sign up as a provider, your CNIC (front and back), a live selfie, date of birth, gender, and professional qualifications.
- Payment information — account details and payment-confirmation screenshots.
- Content you share — chat messages, images, files, and voice notes you send in the app.
Information We Collect Automatically
- Device & usage data — device type, app version, and basic activity to keep the app running smoothly.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To connect customers with service providers and enable bookings, custom offers, and orders.
- To verify the identity of service providers and keep the marketplace safe.
- To confirm payments, and to calculate and collect our commission.
- To enable chat, notifications, reviews, and dispute resolution.
- To improve the app and provide customer support.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only where it is needed to run the service:
- Between customers and providers — when you book or make an offer, the other party sees the details needed to complete the job (such as name, photo, service address, and contact where applicable).
- With providers that help us operate the app (such as hosting, and Google for sign-in).
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the platform.
Payments
Payments and commissions are handled using the details you provide. We keep payment and commission screenshots to confirm transactions and resolve disputes. Never share your full banking passwords with anyone — G SIR will never ask for them.
Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep it by law.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure connections and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights & Choices
- Access and update — you can view and edit your profile information in the app.
- Delete your account — you can request deletion, after which we remove your personal data as described above.
Children's Privacy
G SIR is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.
Signing In With Google
If you sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile (name, email, and photo) with us so we can create or access your account. Your use of Google is also governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use G SIR after changes means you accept the updated policy.
